Kristen Chavez-Cantres, M.S. CCC-SLP is an ASHA Certified Speech Language Pathologist and Founder of Talkin' With Purpose.  She believes that every child deserves the tools to connect with the world and the people in it- driving her mission to help them communicate with true purpose from birth and beyond. 

Earning a Masters of Science in Speech & Language Pathology from the University of South Florida in 2013, her clinical expertise is built on a lifelong passion for infant and childhood development that began at the age of just 16. This passion continues with currently completing specialized training to become a Certified Lactation Counselor, further expanding her ability to support mother and infants through feeding challenges. 

With over a decade of experience in pediatric therapy, and gaining invaluable experience while raising two children of her own, she is proud to contribute her expertise back into Brevard County- serving the very community that built her.  Her practice focuses on providing high-quality, family-centered care with specialties in school- age speech and language disorders, early intervention, birth-to-five communication support, and infant feeding.
